🎓 Introduction to NC-HCD Training
This presentation is centred on Training and Manpower Development.
Based on the Nigerian Content Development Policy, 90% of FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detailed Engineering Design for both onshore and offshore facilities in Nigeria are to be executed by Nigerians.
Additionally, about 80% of fabrication and construction work is to be carried out by Nigerians. This excellent policy by the Federal Government has generated numerous employment opportunities for both Artisans and Professionals in the oil and gas sector.
⚠️ Challenge: Unfortunately, many young graduate Engineers, Technologists, and Senior School Certificate holders have little or no exposure to the oil and gas industry, limiting their capabilities and readiness for industry opportunities.
